Onigiri will be a custom weapon, a heavy blade similar to the steel blade, but still thin like a katana, has a hard time hitting and only Myrmidons/Swordmasters can use it. Has 20 uses. Stats will be implemented later.

R-Button Information: First-mate in the Gorge Pirates. A swordsman who prefers power to skill.
Chapter: 17x
Battle Quote: "Aye, see this blade?! It'll slice ya' like bread!"
Death Quote: "Hmm, I see. An honorable foe... Perhaps I underestimated you, eh?"
Sprites: Green haired swordsman with white clothing. Portrait will hopefully be remedied by Nayr...

Wouldn't a Rapier be a bit more appropriate to this character, on name value? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) I'll, as usual, volunteer to make the chibi for his eventual sprite

This Zoro refers to the one piece character, and Oni-Giri is one of his signature moves.

Personally, I thought his sword should be the Wado-Ichimongi (or however you spell his swords name). Oni-Giri is supposed to also be a type of sushi roll or something along those lines.

I can't fit such a long name, and what Blademaster said is true, although I made way too obvious a reference to him. It's also a reference to the Legend of Zorro a little bit but more to One Piece which is why he doesn't have a Rapier. Also, Rapiers are unique to Shon and Siegfried. Zoro's Attack, Oni Giri, is written as "Demon Slash" but it's a wordplay on Onigiri, or Riceball. >.>

Hmm, that kinda seems pretty cheap for a level B sword.
The strongest normal sword in FE7 is the Silver Blade which packs in 14 mt for 13 wt and 60 accuracy.
It also only has 15 uses.

I suggest you bump up the level of the sword, reduce the might a bit, or reduce its amount in usage.

Has to have good uses because otherwise the boss can be easily defeated by just running out his weapon. XP

Too flat and thin, I don't really care for the reference as long as it looks like a tough katana, preferably with some darker colors. It'd kinda be like the sword counterpart to the Devil's Axe in terms of graphical concept, although lacking the devil's axe ability.

On the contrary, I think it looks fine, as long as it fits in the 16x16 pixel box and only uses the standard FE7 weapon icon colors.

It will fit (it is exactly 16x16 pixels, actually — I generally tend toward making icons that barely make the size requirement), and I copied the colours verbatim off of existing weapons, so there should be no trouble with inserting it. Is there anything else you would like to see done to it?

You are quite welcome (I like it when people want to put my icons in hacks). What sort of weapons? How many? Do you have references I will need? I suppose you must need something other than tomes, or you would have already asked for them — I have lots of those, but they are all FE9/10 style. If you give me shared weapon palette for FE7 (in TLP format) I can have them insertion-ready when I send them to you.

I'd like to see some new icons for all the existing spells in FE7 as well as two customs spells, Hero's Fire and Ground Dasher (actually, I forgot the name of the first tome). I'll get details to you as well as the FE7 weapon palette and any normal melee weapon requests and such to you whenever I can, which may take a month or two, there's not much of a rush for anything ATM.
