To clarify, it looks like Seisen Remodelling screws up some in-game cutscenes past chapter 2. From loading up an in game save from end of chapter 5, it works with everyones new mug on status screens there, and the Bahara deathscene and the time passes cutscene are fine, but then dies just prior to Chapter 6's in-level dialogue. Also tried without english patch, so its not that.

P.S. Don't think I'm necroposting from 16 days. If I am, I apologise.

It's supposed to be used in conjunction with the base RM patch--the latter usually referred to as the Binary hack. It updates a few things, largely graphical. Using without the base could cause unintended errors, as the patch was not created with the original in mind nor as a base.

Ah, that would explain it if its meant for the Binary hack. Fair enough. Bit of a shame, the new portraits are nicer than the base ones (well, in my opinion).

Well, thats assuming I have such skill.

Which I don't. If I did, I'm sure I would.

My hacking is limited to nightmare'ing things to death.

I pretty much wrote a tutorial on how to throughout Serenes Forest at some point, in responses to other members. The tools are already programmed, so all it takes is some time and ability to follow directions.

If you're still interested, just sift through my posts over there. They shouldn't be too old.

You mean this?

Hmm...I think I understand the process.

Nevertheless, its alot of effort for a lazy git like me. Doubtless I would actually be a good hacker if I had the determination, but despite any natural affinity, staring at hex bores the heck out of me.

Cool, then I could just pick and choose over which ones I like better.

In some cases, I like the older look better, and others I like the newer ones.

Over the binary patch? I could try that, I'll see.

Edit: it certainly works to the second generation.
